Reporters learned from the Shanghai Municipal Communications Administration and the Shanghai Municipal Economic and Information Commission that on May 7, the "10 Gigabit Optical Network Pilot Construction" officially kicked off at the "Modu Space" in Xuhui, Shanghai. This signifies that the pilot work for the 10 Gigabit Optical Network in Shanghai has entered the comprehensive implementation stage from the design phase. The city's next-generation information infrastructure has taken a crucial step towards ultra-high speed, low latency, and intelligence. The construction of Shanghai's new information infrastructure has thus entered the "10 Gigabit Era."
