The Chinese coast guard lawfully expelled the Japanese illegally entering our Diaoyu Islands' territorial waters.

Liu Dejun, the spokesperson of the China Coast Guard, stated that on May 7th and 8th, the Japanese fishing vessel "Shishi" illegally entered the waters of Diaoyu Island. Chinese coast guard vessels lawfully took necessary control measures and warned and expelled it. Diaoyu Island and its affiliated islands are China's inherent territory, and we urge Japan to immediately cease all illegal activities in the area. The China Coast Guard will continue to carry out law enforcement activities to safeguard national territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests in the waters of Diaoyu Island.
