World Bank Report: Among the 59 indicators related to the business environment, Shanghai has achieved the highest level globally in 22 of them.
Gu Jun, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Municipal Government and Director of the Shanghai Development and Reform Commission, stated at a press conference on May 8th that according to the World Bank's Shanghai Enterprise Survey data, Shanghai's overall performance is good. Out of the 59 evaluation criteria related to the business environment in the enterprise survey, Shanghai has reached the global best level in 22 criteria. Recently, the Shanghai Development and Reform Commission issued a notice on "Ten Major Breakthrough Tasks to Accelerate the Optimization of the Business Environment by 2025", selecting ten urgent matters for enterprises and high requirements for departmental coordination to break through, introducing incremental measures, and tackling problems. In terms of innovation in financing services for small and medium-sized enterprises, efforts are being made to innovate bank-enterprise docking methods, reduce financing costs, fully implement seamless refinancing and no repayment refinancing policies extended to medium-sized enterprises, increase the innovation of credit financing products provided by financial institutions, pilot and promote the "Park Quick Loan Action", further push down the financing service center, vigorously develop supply chain finance, conduct in-depth visits to thousands of enterprises and households, and focus on improving the convenience and accessibility of financing for small and micro enterprises.
