The National Oceanic Forecasting Station issued a blue wave warning at 08:00 on May 8th: Under the influence of the offshore cyclone, it is expected that from noon on May 8th to noon on May 9th, large to huge waves of 2.5 to 4 meters will appear in the southern part of the Yellow Sea and the northern part of the East China Sea; the nearshore waters of southern Jiangsu, Shanghai, and the northern part of Zhejiang will experience medium to large waves of 1.5 to 2.5 meters, with a blue wave warning level for nearshore waters.
