This morning, OpenAI announced a new AI development plan on its official website called "OpenAI for Countries". On January 21st of this year, Trump announced the "Stargate project" at the White House, with investments from OpenAI, SoftBank, Oracle and others totaling 500 billion US dollars. Now OpenAI hopes to establish a similar project for every country in the world and collaborate with them to develop AI infrastructure. They will provide a customized version of ChatGPT to improve fields such as healthcare, education, and law. OpenAI stated that the goal of the "OpenAI for Countries" plan is to start with 10 projects in the first phase with various countries or regions, and then expand further from there.
