Syria and Israel are holding indirect talks to discuss the current situation.
On May 7th local time, Syrian regime leader Assad stated that Syrian officials have held indirect talks with Israel to calm down the current situation. Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported on the same day that Israel's two demands for the indirect talks with the Syrian regime are: there is no military threat to Israel on the border between Israel and Syria; Syria does not possess strategic weapons that threaten Israel.
