American officials say that the CEOs of the top five U.S. airlines plan to support the Trump administration's proposal to spend billions of dollars to reform the aging air traffic control system and increase hiring. The CEOs of Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and JetBlue Airways are all expected to speak at an event on Thursday where Transportation Secretary Sean Duff will detail his recommendations to Congress. Other airline industry executives will also be in attendance.
