US officials said that the CEOs of the five major US airlines are planning to support the Trump administration's proposal to invest billions of dollars to reform the aging air traffic control system and increase recruitment. The CEOs of Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and JetBlue Airways are all expected to speak at an event on Thursday, where Transportation Secretary Sean Dailey will provide details about his proposals to Congress. Other airline industry executives will also be in attendance.
