The General Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province has issued the "Implementation Plan for Guangdong Province's Special Action to Boost Consumption", proposing to expand and deepen the opening up of the service industry. It will intensify the pilot of opening up the medical field, and systematically promote the establishment of foreign-owned hospitals in Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Efforts will be made to simplify the practice procedures for doctors from Hong Kong and Macao in Guangdong, strengthen the institutional connection in the medical field, and attract more foreign investment to establish medical facilities in Guangdong. In the telecommunications sector, pilot projects to relax foreign access will be implemented, supporting more foreign companies to apply for pilot operation qualifications for value-added telecommunications services. The comprehensive pilot project to expand the opening up of the service industry in Guangzhou will be deepened, and support will be provided for Shenzhen to accelerate the construction of a new round of pilot projects for expanding the opening up of the service industry at the national level. It also supports Guangzhou and Shenzhen in striving to create national service trade innovation and development demonstration zones, focusing on the demand for upgrading residents' consumption, and promoting the import of high-quality life services such as medical care, health, culture and entertainment.
