On May 7, Li Yunze, Director of the Financial Regulatory Bureau, said at a press conference organized by the State Council Information Office that in the first quarter of this year, the balance of real estate loans increased by more than 750 billion yuan, with the addition of personal housing loans reaching the highest single-quarter growth since 2022, and housing rental loans increasing by 28% year on year.
