The Indian government said in a statement on Wednesday that the Indian armed forces launched "Operation Sondar" and attacked nine locations in Pakistan and in the Pakistan-administered Jammu and Kashmir region. The statement added that there were no targets in Pakistan's military facilities. The Indian government pointed out, "Our actions are focused, measured, and will not escalate." A spokesperson for the Pakistani military told ARY News that Indian missiles had struck three locations in Pakistan, and Pakistan would respond. The Pakistani military spokesperson stated that no Indian aircraft had entered Pakistani airspace.
