Tax data shows: China's engineering projects have progressed smoothly in the first quarter.

The latest tax data released by the State Administration of Taxation on the 6th showed that in the first quarter of 2025, the number of engineering projects nationwide that declared work injury insurance on a project-by-project basis reached a cumulative 39,000, an increase of 9.4% year-on-year; the total construction cost of the projects reached 1.9 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.8% year-on-year. The overall progress of key engineering projects in China is smooth, with a good momentum of investment growth. Especially after March, the construction of investment projects has noticeably accelerated.
