According to the National Immigration Administration, during this year's "May Day" holiday, national border control agencies ensured the entry and exit of a total of 10.896 million Chinese and foreign nationals, an increase of 28.7% compared to the previous year's "May Day" holiday. Among them, there were 1.115 million foreign nationals entering and exiting, an increase of 43.1% compared to the same period last year; among the foreign nationals entering, there were 380,000 people entering under the visa-free policy, an increase of 72.7% compared to the same period last year. This achievement reflects the increasing attractiveness of the Chinese tourism market to global tourists.
