Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission senior officials visit Abu Dhabi and Dubai to promote cooperation in virtual assets.

According to the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) news app, SFC intermediary division executive director Ye Zhiheng and intermediary division director and financial technology group manager Huang Lexin visited Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the UAE last week to meet with local regulatory agencies and Web 3 industry representatives to exchange insights and experiences on virtual assets. Ye Zhiheng stated that the SFC will continue to lead regulation of virtual assets by promoting international cooperation and implementing sound standards to ensure good and safe market regulation. Through establishing global partnerships and implementing comprehensive regulatory measures, the SFC is committed to positioning Hong Kong as a leading hub for financial innovation.
