During the May Day holiday, the passenger flow in Shanghai's two major airports exceeded 1.93 million, setting a record high for the same period in history.

Reporters learned from Shanghai Airport Group that, according to Express statistics, during the May Day holiday, Shanghai Pudong and Hongqiao airports jointly ensured the takeoff and landing of 12,000 flights, a year-on-year increase of 6.2%; and ensured the arrival and departure of 1.937 million passengers, with a daily average passenger flow of 387,000, a year-on-year increase of 14.1%; the passenger flow of entry and exit was 568,000, with a daily average of 114,000, a year-on-year increase of 24%. During the May Day holiday, the flight volume and passenger flow of Shanghai airports both set a record high compared to the same period in previous years.
