Liu Qiangdong responds to "going to college by collecting 76 eggs"

On May 5th, the Alumni Association of Renmin University of China released a video related to Liu Qiangdong, in which he discussed topics such as "earning chicken eggs to go to college." In the video, Liu Qiangdong said, "At that time, my family was very poor, so the best thing we had in the village was eggs. I brought seventy-six eggs with me to Renmin University. During the first week, in order to save money, I didn't really go to the cafeteria and just ate eggs for all three meals a day." Liu Qiangdong also stated, "To be honest, the four years I spent at Renmin University were the most important years of my life. It was at Renmin University where I first started my business, and I can say that those four years were the most formative in shaping my values."
