Director Lu Weihong of the Political Department of the General Administration of Customs visited counterpart departments in Brazil, Cuba, and Spain.

From April 20th to 30th, Director of the Political Department of the General Administration of Customs and member of the Party Committee, Lv Weihong led a delegation to visit relevant departments in Brazil, Cuba, and Spain. During the visit, Director Lv Weihong was invited to meet Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz as a courtesy call, and had in-depth discussions with leaders of the customs and agriculture agencies of the three countries on topics such as maintaining the international trade multilateral system, food safety cooperation under the "Belt and Road" initiative, "smart customs" construction, mutual recognition of authorized economic operators, anti-smuggling enforcement cooperation, capacity building, administrative mutual assistance investigation, and cross-border cooperation. Several customs inspection and quarantine cooperation documents were signed with foreign parties, including the protocol for the export of agricultural products to China, memorandum of cooperation on capacity building, memorandum of cooperation on electronic certificates, and other customs inspection and quarantine cooperation documents.
