Beijing: Building a Green Hydrogen Trading Center

The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology recently issued the "Beijing Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Implementation Plan." It proposes building a green hydrogen trading center. Leveraging the locational advantage of sitting at the intersection of the "Three-North" green hydrogen supply belt and the coastal consumption demand belt, and relying on the innovation, finance, industry, and infrastructure strengths of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, it will build a green hydrogen trading center to form a carbon-hydrogen coordinated, well-regulated, efficient, open, and transparent hydrogen energy trading market, lead and drive the sound development of the domestic hydrogen energy industry, and enhance the international pricing power of green hydrogen products.
