Daliangshan Tunnel's left tube successfully holed through; upon opening to traffic, it will connect 7 surrounding expressways

At 10:18 a.m. on October 25, after nine years of sustained efforts by the builders, the left tube of the Daliangshan Tunnel on the Yunxian-Lincang Expressway in Yunnan was successfully holed through. The tunnel's left and right tubes total 20.43 kilometers in length, and it is a controlling project of the entire line. The successful holing-through of its left tube has laid a solid foundation for the completion and opening of the entire line to traffic.
