Ceyear: Will release new vector network analyzer and a series of test solutions at the Shenzhen Semiconductor Exhibition
Ceyear stated at its earnings briefing on October 24 that the company has been continuously building out its presence in PCB testing, with earlier solutions focused more on the R&D side or the R&D processes of PCB manufacturers. In response to the demand for efficient automated testing on mass-production lines, the company is developing automated PCB production-line testing solutions, driving the extension of related capabilities from R&D to mass-production industrialization. During the Shenzhen Semiconductor Exhibition, it will release new higher-frequency, higher-quality vector network analyzers and a series of test solutions, including PCB testing solutions. Currently, revenue directly from PCB testing business for the industrial side accounts for a relatively small proportion. High-speed PCB automated testing requires not only the company's own VNA products, software algorithms and other capabilities, but also external capabilities such as test fixtures, and the company needs to work with partners to complete further development. PCB testing mainly covers metrics such as insertion loss, impedance, and dielectric constant. As high-speed transmission evolves toward 112G and 224G, related testing demand continues to exist, and current sample submission and validation results are broadly in line with expectations.
