The Party Committee Theoretical Study Center Group of SASAC conducted a special study session on General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the conference commemorating the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army's Long March, vigorously carrying forward the great Long March spirit and contributing greater strength from state-owned assets and central enterprises on the new Long March.

On October 23, the Party Committee of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council convened a collective study session of the Theoretical Study Center Group, focusing on studying the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the conference commemorating the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army's Long March. The session emphasized the need to deeply understand the decisive significance of the "Two Establishments," resolutely achieve the "Two Upholds," and earnestly plan and align all work within the overall context of the Party and the country's undertakings. It called for vigorously promoting the great Long March spirit, firmly shouldering responsibilities and missions, advancing the strengthening, improvement, and expansion of state-owned enterprises and state-owned capital, continuously consolidating the important material and political foundations of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and making greater contributions to the development of the Party and the country's undertakings on the new Long March. Cheng Fubo, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of SASAC of the State Council, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech, while members of the SASAC Party Committee shared their study reflections. The Secretary-General and Chief Accountant of SASAC attended the meeting as non-voting participants. The meeting stressed the need to closely integrate the responsibilities and missions of state-owned assets and central enterprises, and align with and implement key tasks on the new Long March. It called for accelerating high-quality development, fully, accurately, and comprehensively implementing the new development philosophy, continuously optimizing the layout of the state-owned economy, strengthening research on key core technologies, effectively enhancing core functions and improving core competitiveness, and better leveraging the strategic support role of the state-owned economy; vigorously advancing the reform of state-owned assets and state-owned enterprises, solidly implementing the tasks for further deepening the reform of state-owned assets and state-owned enterprises, and truly eliminating institutional and mechanistic obstacles affecting high-quality development of enterprises; vigorously improving regulatory effectiveness, deeply transforming regulatory methods, accelerating the advancement of penetrating regulation, improving the system of laws and regulations for state-owned assets supervision, promoting the integration and coordination of various types of supervision, and continuously enhancing the professionalism, systematization, rule-of-law, and efficiency of regulation; upholding the overall leadership of the Party, promoting the deep integration of Party building and business operations, persistently and deeply advancing comprehensive and strict governance of the Party, and leading and safeguarding high-quality development with high-quality Party building.
