Guangzhou and iQIYI signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement.

On the morning of October 24, the Guangzhou AIGC Audiovisual Industry Series Release Event was held at the Baiyun International Convention Center. Jiang Zhitao, Deputy Mayor of Guangzhou, and Gong Yu, Chief Executive Officer of iQIYI, delivered speeches and jointly signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. Before the event, Sun Zhiyang, Mayor of Guangzhou, and Gong Yu exchanged views on further deepening cooperation. In his speech, Jiang Zhitao said that Guangzhou has a solid foundation and ample confidence for developing the audiovisual industry. Gong Yu said that Guangzhou has a good foundation for building a highland for the AIGC audiovisual industry. iQIYI will leverage its content advantages to deepen cooperation with Guangzhou in areas such as documentary production and AI film and television creation camps, and help Guangzhou build a city of documentaries. At the event, the Guangzhou Municipal Government and iQIYI signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. The two sides will strengthen cooperation in key areas such as AIGC industry layout, content creation, ecosystem cultivation, talent training, and city brand building, and jointly promote the high-quality development of Guangzhou's digital cultural industry.
