Shanghai issues blue alert for high tide levels on the Huangpu River

Shanghai Municipal Hydrological Station issued a blue warning for high tide levels on the Huangpu River at 15:30 on October 24, 2026: Affected by Typhoon No. 2630 "Champi," cold air, and astronomical high tides, the highest tide level at the Suzhou Creek estuary of the Huangpu River is expected to reach about 4.65 meters at 12:15 on the 25th. The Municipal Flood Control Headquarters requires flood control agencies at all levels and all units along the river to inspect and implement preventive measures.
