First automotive industry AI foundation model released, open and shared across the entire industry

According to the "Capital Construction News" WeChat public account, on October 23, at the 2026 World Intelligent Connected Vehicles Conference, the National Artificial Intelligence Application Pilot and Test Base, led by China Mobile, officially released the industry's first automotive AI foundation and its construction achievements. The capabilities of this AI foundation are open and shared with the entire industry starting today. The automotive industry AI foundation provides integrated output of three major capabilitiescomputing power, data, and modelsto the entire industry, allowing automakers to access them on demand without building their own. At present, the foundation has placed 112.7 EFLOPS of computing power under management, with capabilities covering four major areas: R&D, manufacturing, intelligent driving, and testing. It has built six intelligent agents: automotive styling design, process planning, visual quality inspection, intelligent operations and maintenance, intelligent driving data generation, and intelligent driving model training. The related achievements have been implemented and applied in more than 10 central and state-owned automakers.
