More than 290,000 market entities in the southern regional power market

As the southern regional electricity market officially begins operation, new business forms such as virtual power plants and new-type energy storage will further enter the market to participate in trading. Currently, there are more than 290,000 operating entities, covering multiple entities including power generation enterprises, electricity sales companies, electricity users, new-type energy storage, and virtual power plants. Through this electricity market, new energy sources such as wind and solar power can be utilized efficiently over a larger scope. At present, the regional utilization rate of new energy generation remains above 95%, higher than the national average.
