Governor of the People's Bank of China Pan Gongsheng Meets with Central Bank Governors of Relevant Countries

From October 14 to 16, 2026, during his attendance at the International Monetary Fund/World Bank Annual Meetings, Pan Gongsheng, Governor of the People's Bank of China, met respectively with relevant central bank governors including Vitai of the Bank of Thailand, Destry of Bank Indonesia, Rasheed of Bank Negara Malaysia, Malhotra of the Reserve Bank of India, Bullock of the Reserve Bank of Australia, Karahan of the Central Bank of the Republic of Trkiye, Abdullah of the Central Bank of Egypt, Cardoso of the Central Bank of Nigeria, and Turnava of the National Bank of Georgia, and exchanged views on issues such as the global economic situation and deepening bilateral practical financial cooperation. Xuan Changneng, Deputy Governor of the People's Bank of China, attended the meetings.
