Refining margins soar, ExxonMobil (XOM.US) Q3 downstream business profit set to hit record high

Zhitong Finance APP has learned that ExxonMobil (XOM.US) stated in an 8-K filing on Friday that rising refining profit margins in the third quarter are expected to bring about US$4.5 billion in profit growth for its downstream business, while in the second quarter its refining business had already earned US$4.1 billion in profit.
