Taiwan, China's Apollo Power purchases Tesla Megapack energy storage equipment.

According to an announcement disclosed by the Taiwan Stock Exchange on Sunday, integrated energy service provider Apollo Power signed a procurement agreement on October 8 to purchase 260 Tesla Megapack 2XL energy storage systems, with a total capacity of approximately 1 GWh. Due to a confidentiality agreement, the contract amount was not disclosed. The equipment is expected to be delivered by the end of 2027, and the project is planned to enter operation in 2028. The project timeline depends on equipment delivery, engineering construction, and grid connection progress.
