Three companies were ordered to rectify for containing words such as "financial holding" without approval.
The Tibet Financial Regulatory Bureau recently issued a public notice stating that finance is a licensed industry and must be operated with a license. According to the "Decision of the State Council on Implementing Access Management for Financial Holding Companies" and other relevant regulations, without approval, no entity may be registered as a financial holding company, and the words "financial holding," "financial group," "financial control," and similar terms may not be used in company names. In order to strictly control financial access, maintain financial market order, and strengthen source control over illegal financial activities, in accordance with unified national deployment requirements, the Tibet Financial Regulatory Bureau, together with market regulatory authorities, conducted a comprehensive screening of financial-related business entities within its jurisdiction. After comprehensive assessment, it was determined that there are 3 business entities within Tibet whose names contain words such as "financial holding," "financial group," or "financial control" without approval. They are: 1. Lhasa Economic and Technological Development Zone Yixing Financial Control Investment Co., Ltd.; 2. Tibet Financial Control Information Services Co., Ltd.; 3. Tibet Financial Control Fund Management Co., Ltd. The Tibet Financial Regulatory Bureau requires the three enterprises to voluntarily apply to the market regulatory authorities for deregistration or to change their names and business scopes within 3 months from the date of the public notice. After the change, the names and business scopes must not contain "financial holding," "financial group," "financial control," or other unlicensed terms with financial attributes. For business entities on the list that fail to voluntarily deregister or change their names and business scopes within the prescribed period, the Tibet Financial Regulatory Bureau will work with relevant departments to take further regulatory measures.
