Ministry of Education: Teacher Development Center fully launched, full coverage training on teachers' AI literacy initiated

Today, the Ministry of Education held an on-site meeting in Beijing on AI empowering teacher development. The Teacher Development Center of the National Smart Education Platform has been fully upgraded and launched, and full coverage training on teachers' AI literacy was simultaneously initiated. The newly launched Teacher Development Center features an AI literacy section that integrates AI learning resources, smart tools, and research communities, providing support for teachers' self-directed learning and full coverage training. As the first lesson of the full coverage training, the Ministry of Education invited frontline teachers, principals, and education bureau directors to conduct on-site immersive, scenario-based demonstration training, showcasing how to use AI throughout the entire chain before, during, and after class to empower efficient lesson preparation, classroom teaching, academic evaluation, teaching research reflection, and school governance, helping teachers master the methods and pathways from "learning AI" to "using AI" and then to "creating AI," empowering education and teaching and teacher development with artificial intelligence, and better supporting tailored instruction.
