LG Energy Solution of South Korea partners with indiGOtech to explore supplying 46-series cylindrical batteries for commercial electric vans in the U.S.

LG Energy Solution announced today that it has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with U.S. commercial electric vehicle startup indiGOtech to explore battery supply and technical cooperation. indiGOtech, headquartered in Woburn, Massachusetts, focuses on the electrification of commercial van platforms for the North American market. The company is developing an ecosystem that integrates vehicles, charging infrastructure, and digital services. Under the memorandum, the two parties will work toward reaching a definitive agreement for LG Energy Solution to supply 46-series NCM cylindrical cells for indiGOtech's upcoming Flow Ride and Flow Cargo electric vehicles between 2027 and 2030. The two parties will jointly drive business development through vehicle-battery integration and performance validation work. To maximize vehicle performance, the two companies plan to explore opportunities to extend driving range and shorten charging time.
