According to the Zhitong Finance APP, on September 29, the State Council Information Office held a press conference on advancing the building of a strong sci-tech nation during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period. Minister of Science and Technology Yin Hejun mentioned that, focusing on the needs of the country's long-term development and strategic demands, we will implement the already launched national major science and technology projects well, and refine and deploy a batch of national major science and technology projects oriented toward 2035. Focusing on sci-tech issues in national economic and social development, we will fully launch and implement the "15th Five-Year Plan" national key science and technology special projects. We will promote breakthroughs in key areas such as integrated circuits, industrial mother machines, and high-end instruments across the entire chain, and resolve all bottlenecks and obstacles in the innovation chain. We will strengthen research and development in frontier technologies such as artificial intelligence, quantum technology, biotechnology, and brain-computer interfaces, and seize the commanding heights of sci-tech development.
