As U.S.-Iran peace talks stall, oil prices rose intraday, and U.S. Treasury yields climbed, currently near recent multi-year highs but still slightly below that level. Peace negotiators are urging Iran to make concessions on its nuclear program to push for the resumption of ceasefire talks with the United States. This follows U.S. President Trump's rejection of Iran's proposed ceasefire plan. According to Tradeweb data, the 2-year U.S. Treasury yield rose 4.4 basis points to 4.907%; the 10-year Treasury yield rose 2.8 basis points to 5.208%; and the 30-year Treasury yield rose 1.7 basis points to 5.518%.
