Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Marine Economic Development issued the "Guidelines for the Development of Zhejiang Province's Marine Clean Energy Industry," focusing on four major industries: offshore wind power, offshore photovoltaics, ocean energy, and coastal nuclear power. It aims to accelerate the cultivation of new quality productive forces in the marine sector and build a full-chain marine clean energy industry cluster. The Guidelines propose that by 2030, the province's marine clean energy and its equipment industry scale will exceed 300 billion yuan, offshore wind power installed capacity will exceed 10 million kilowatts, a ten-million-kilowatt-level offshore wind power base will be built, landmark projects such as wind power mother ports will be put into operation, tidal current energy will achieve hundred-megawatt-level commercial application, offshore photovoltaics will achieve contiguous development of "wind and solar co-location," the green hydrogen-ammonia-methanol industry will begin to take shape, more than 50 leading enterprises and specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative enterprises in the marine clean energy sector will be cultivated, and the province will basically be built into a national marine clean energy innovation highland, an industry cultivation and clustering destination, and a pioneer in integrated development.
