Southbound capital recorded net buying for five consecutive weeks, with Tencent Holdings receiving net buying of HK$1.695 billion in the past week.
Amid a market pullback, southbound capital recorded total net buying of HK$23.113 billion this week, marking net buying for five consecutive weeks. Looking at this week's list of active stocks, a total of 18 stocks made the list. Tencent Holdings had the highest total southbound trading volume this week, reaching HK$28.69 billion; Zhipu followed with HK$21.141 billion; others such as Alibaba-W, YOFC, and Kingboard Laminates also saw total southbound trading volume exceed HK$10 billion this week. In terms of net buying amounts, Tencent Holdings received net buying of HK$1.695 billion from southbound capital. This week, southbound capital was mainly buying internet technology giants, with Alibaba-W receiving net buying of HK$1.24 billion and Xiaomi Group-W receiving net buying of HK$64 million. Among other stocks, Kingboard Laminates and Kingboard Holdings received net selling of HK$1.618 billion and HK$352 million, respectively. In terms of changes in shareholdings, 15 stocks saw their southbound shareholdings increase by more than 10% week-on-week. Iluvatar CoreX led with a week-on-week increase of 217.19%, while Health 160, Dajin Heavy Industry, and GenFleet Therapeutics-B also ranked high with week-on-week increases of 121.38%, 30.21%, and 26.36%, respectively.
