Zhitong Finance APP has learned that the China Automobile Dealers Association stated in a notice that in August 2026, the national used car market transaction volume was 1.5163 million units, down 2.90% month-on-month and down 11.19% year-on-year, with a transaction amount of 96.972 billion yuan. From January to August 2026, cumulative used car transaction volume was 12.7911 million units, down 1.14% year-on-year, a decrease of 147,300 units compared with the same period, with a cumulative transaction amount of 839.972 billion yuan.
