China Shenhua: Discloses August 2026 Key Operating Data

China Shenhua announced that in August 2026, the company's commercial coal output was 44.1 million tonnes, up 0.7% year on year; coal sales volume was 55.9 million tonnes, up 0.7% year on year. The turnover of its own railway transportation was 27.0 billion tonne-kilometres, down 3.6% year on year; the shipment volume at Huanghua Port was 18.4 million tonnes, down 4.7% year on year. Total power generation was 28.97 billion kWh, down 3.5% year on year; total electricity sold was 27.09 billion kWh, down 3.7% year on year. In the coal chemical segment, sales volumes of polyolefins, oil products, methanol, and ethylene glycol increased by 17.8%, 272.4%, 41.3%, and 141.7% year on year, respectively. Starting from April 2026, operating data includes business volumes from newly consolidated assets, and the prior-year comparative figures have been retrospectively adjusted.
