Honghui Fruit & Vegetable: Gross profit margin rose by 7.16 percentage points year-on-year in the first half
Honghui Fruit & Vegetable announced that the company's gross margin for the first half of the year was 16.22%, up 7.16 percentage points year-on-year; the gross margin for the second quarter alone was 22.47%. The increase in gross margin was mainly due to Shimei Pharmaceutical being included in the consolidated financial statements starting in June, as the higher gross margin of the pharmaceutical business raised the overall level, while the company also optimized the business structure of the fruit and vegetable segment, strengthened cost control, and proactively reduced low-margin businesses. Shimei Pharmaceutical's core product is levamlodipine besylate tablets, which have passed consistency evaluation and were selected in the 1st-8th batches of national centralized procurement renewals, with the continuation period running through the end of 2028. In the second half of the year, Shimei Pharmaceutical will be consolidated for a full period, and the revenue share of the pharmaceutical business will further increase, providing support for the overall gross margin, but whether the gross margin can be maintained remains uncertain.
