According to the latest industry survey, influenced by last Friday's U.S. official CPI data revealing that inflation remains stubborn, the previously relatively dominant weak consensus that the Federal Reserve would keep interest rates unchanged this month has "collapsed." Most surveyed economists now believe that the Federal Reserve will announce a rate hike this Wednesday and raise rates at least once more before the end of March next year.
