A machinery accident resulted in one death. The Longgang District of Shenzhen released an investigation report: there was concealment in reporting, and it is recommended that criminal responsibility be pursued for five individuals.
The Longgang District Emergency Management Bureau recently released the "Investigation Report on the General Mechanical Injury Fatal Accident in Nanhai, Longgang." At approximately 14:38 on March 4, a mechanical injury accident occurred at the first bid section of the Shenzhen International Comprehensive Logistics Hub Center in the Xialiang Community of Nanhai Street, Longgang District, Shenzhen, resulting in one fatality and direct economic losses of 2 million yuan. The investigation determined that the accident was a production safety responsibility incident caused by the violation of operating procedures by the construction personnel, the construction unit's failure to implement its primary responsibility for production safety, insufficient on-site safety management, and lax supervision by the supervisory unit. Additionally, there was a concealment of the accident circumstances. The investigation report indicates that five individuals, including Qing, the project execution manager of the first bid section of the International Logistics Center, have been suggested for criminal responsibility. Wang, the main responsible person for the Guangdong Province project of China Railway 25th Bureau Group Co., Ltd., and Zhou, the project manager of the first bid section of the International Logistics Center, among other 22 people, are held responsible for the accident, and it is recommended that relevant departments conduct investigations and handle the matter accordingly.
