The breach at Cangtou Village, Yanling County, Qingxu River in Henan has successfully been sealed.

At 23:56 on August 15, the breach in the section of the Qingxue River in Cangtou Village, Yanling County, Henan, was successfully sealed. Due to continuous rainfall and upstream water flow, a drainage gate in a farmland area of Cangtou Village, Yanling County, was washed away around 10:00 AM on August 13, creating a breach over 10 meters wide. The water discharge from the breach affected several villages in Xiaoyaotown, Xihua County downstream, and some farmlands were submerged. After the emergency, Henan Province organized over 300 experts and rescue personnel and deployed 40 machines to carry out rescue efforts.
