China Consumer Association Releases Green Consumption Guide Covering Four Major Areas with 50 Action Recommendations
Today marks the fourth National Ecology Day, and the China Consumers Association has released the "Green Consumption Guide for Chinese Consumers." The guide focuses on the "3060" carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals, and is grounded in daily life to help consumers increase their knowledge of green consumption, enhance their confidence in green consumption, and cultivate sustainable lifestyles. Based on the social and cultural context of China and residents' daily life scenarios, the guide systematically presents 50 action recommendations covering four major consumption areas: diet, travel, energy, and daily necessities. It includes advocating for the "Clean Your Plate" initiative, reducing the use of disposable utensils, promoting low-carbon travel, and encouraging the priority use of public transportation, cycling, or walking.
