Filling up a tank of gas or spending about 11 yuan less, fuel prices are set to see their fifth reduction this year.

The new round of domestic refined oil price adjustment will take place at 24:00 on August 14. According to various institutions, the refined oil price is expected to see its fifth reduction this year. Liu Bingjuan, a refined oil analyst at Longzhong Information, mentioned that as of August 12, the average reference crude oil price during this cycle was $82.14 per barrel, down 4.90% from the previous period. It is anticipated that when the price adjustment window opens, the theoretical reduction for refined oil will be around 210 yuan per ton, which translates to a decrease of approximately 0.15 yuan per liter. For a private car with a 70-liter fuel tank, this means that filling up the tank will save the owner about 11 yuan.
