India seeks to participate in France's sixth-generation fighter jet development project.
According to a report on the website of "El Espaol" on August 10, after the three-party cooperation on the joint development of the future air combat system by France, Germany, and Spain collapsed, only France has clearly announced a follow-up plan. Dassault Aviation stated that if Germany and Spain insist on advancing their independent research and development route, France will independently complete the development of the sixth-generation aircraft. Meanwhile, India is making every effort to join the French sixth-generation aircraft project. The Indian Ministry of Defense submitted a special progress report to the Indian Parliament's Standing Committee on Defense. The "New India Express" cited the report as stating that the Indian side has "collaborated on various preparatory works to seek participation" in the French FCAS project.
