According to Huayuan Securities, by the end of July 2026, the total scale of wealth management reached 35.4 trillion yuan, an increase of 1.75 trillion yuan compared to the end of the previous month, setting a new historical high for the scale of wealth management in existence. From 2021 to 2025, the average increase in wealth management scale in July was 1.8 trillion yuan, and this years growth in July aligns with seasonal trends. Analysts noted that in July, due to adjustments in the stock market, the yield of secondary bond funds in wealth management investments declined, and the net value of some wealth management products experienced a pullback, which may have impacted the growth of the wealth management scale, preventing it from exceeding seasonal growth. In July, the average annualized yield of fixed-income wealth management products and pure fixed-income wealth management products provided by wealth management companies both fell compared to the previous month, standing at 0.56% and 1.51% respectively.
