The city of Suzhou, relying on the "Emergency Assistance Fund for New Employment Groups in Difficulty", has opened a special assistance channel specifically for this typhoon disaster, covering new employment groups such as couriers, on-demand delivery workers, truck drivers, and ride-hailing drivers. The application targets are those new employment groups who were on duty and receiving orders during the "Baihaitun" typhoon period. Workers who are injured due to the typhoon during work hours or who face economic difficulties can receive one-time assistance ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 yuan per household.
