The Boeing 777 wide-body passenger aircraft modification cargo production line has been established in Qingdao, with plans to commence production in September.

According to the Shandong Provincial Department of Transportation, recently, the American Mammoth Freighter Company and Shandong Taikoo Aircraft Engineering Co., Ltd. reached a strategic cooperation agreement to build China's first Boeing 777 wide-body passenger aircraft conversion freighter production line at Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport. According to the plan, Mammoth will establish a total of 9 passenger-to-freighter conversion production lines globally, including 5 in Fort Worth, USA, 2 in Manchester, UK, and 2 in Qingdao, China.
