The Suzhou Municipal Government has issued a red flood warning for the Suzhou section of the Grand Canal.

On August 10 at 15:00, the Suzhou Municipal Water Authority issued a red flood warning for the Suzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. It reminded all levels of government and relevant departments in the affected areas to closely monitor changes in water and rainfall conditions, strengthen emergency duty and analysis, organize inspections along the dikes, and prepare for emergency rescue operations.
