Zhejiang Promotes the Transformation of Clinical Innovation Achievements in Medical Devices

Recently, three departments including the Provincial Drug Regulatory Bureau issued the "Implementation Plan for the 'Spring Rain Action' to Promote the Transformation of Clinical Innovations in Medical Devices in Zhejiang Province." The plan proposes the establishment and improvement of a comprehensive work mechanism that includes "collection and selectionconnection and matchingguidance and nurturingtransformation and implementationclinical application," as well as the construction of an innovative ecosystem characterized by "sourcing clinical ideascollaborative technical breakthroughs between medicine and engineeringsynergistic cultivation through the triad of medicine, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals." The goal is to promote the market launch of a number of medical-engineering integrated products with significant clinical application value within three years, further enhancing the innovation capability of medical devices in Zhejiang and better meeting the health needs of the people.
