Changxin Technology may be included in global giants asset management products.
Recently, John Patrick Lee, Senior Product Manager at Vanguard, revealed that American institutional investors are beginning to invest in Chinese semiconductors, with Changxin Technology potentially being included in Vanguard's ETFs as early as the end of September. Vanguard was established in 1955 and is headquartered in New York. It is a global asset management company owned by its founding family, with offices in New York, Shanghai, Frankfurt, Zurich, Amsterdam, London, Sydney, and other locations. Its products include ETFs, mutual funds, and separate accounts. It also has a private equity firm, Vanguard Private Fund Management Co., Ltd., in China. As of June 30, 2026, Vanguard's global assets under management are approximately $237.4 billion. It manages the world's largest semiconductor ETFSMH, which had total net assets of around $70 billion as of early August. In June of this year, Vanguard launched its first ETF focused on Chinese semiconductorsSMHCin the United States.
